My Bookstores Manager   Set Preferences

You can use the Bublos Preferences Manager to set a few personal preferences for your book searches, including your default location and default timeout. You can also select bookstores which you'd prefer us not to search, thus speeding up some of the tools on our site.

If you have an account with us (and you're logged in) we save your preferences to your account. If you don't yet have an account then no problem, but we save your preferences to a cookie instead, which is, by definition, less permanent.

 Update Your Bublos Preferences 
Make sure that you remember to save your preferences by using the "Save" button when you have amended your selections.
Set Your Preferred Timeout:
Your default timeout will be used, whenever it is possible, for book searches and also book price comparisons. However, note that the shorter the time-out, the fewer results will generally be returned, especially for price-comparisons.

Set Your Default Location:
Your default location will be used when no geographic locale has been specifically selected or successfully determined.

Zip Code:
If you live in the United States, and you'd like to provide your zip code, then we may sometimes be able to provide price comparison results for a local bookstore near to where you live, via Booksense.

Book Searches:
Tick the boxes of stores you wish us to ignore for searches, if any. At least one store, from each locale, must remain un-checked. Generally speaking, the fewer bookstores which are searched, the faster your results will be returned.

Book Price Comparisons:
Tick the boxes of stores you wish us to ignore for price comparisons, if any. However, you should note that, whatever your settings, not all bookstores will always return results. At least two stores, from each locale, must remain un-checked.

Please note that, for a short while after having made your selection, prices for any stores you have selected may still appear in comparison tables for books you have recently compared prices for - this is normal.
