Product Description Fulfill your sex kitten fantasies and your crafting jones at the same time: knit naughty! Naughty Needles is a fun and feisty knitting adventure filled with designs that can go from bedroom to costume party and back again. Play it sweet in a Fembot babydoll nightie or sex it up in Hootchie Kootchie pasties. When you’re feeling frisky, knit up the Baby Blue-Ball Gag or play dress-up in the naughty nurse cap or the felted Red Riding Hood cape. New and experienced knitters alike will find inventive and easy-to-follow patterns. And since the garments aren’t exactly full-coverage, they don’t take much time to complete.
With inspiration from retro icons like surfer Gidget, Mrs. Robinson, and cavegirl Raquel Welch, Nikol Lohr pushes the boundaries of the traditional “wifely” crafts into the age of Sex and the City and cuddle parties. Part how-to guide, part peep show, Naughty Needles is a brash, tongue-in-cheek take on an age-old art. From the demure to the bizarre, with a splash of fetish thrown in, these are the projects that will make you smile–and make your partner growwwwl.

Knot Just For The Bedroom 17 July, 2008 This book is great fun and very practical! Full of sexy projects, many of which are practical enough that you wear out of the house, like the "Criss-cross gloves" and "Kinderwhore" socks. Also many of the projects include tame versions such as the "Siren" mermaid tail which can also be worn as a long, gorgeous scarf. A must have for any knitter who isn't all about granny squares and sweaters with big gastly snowflakes.

For A Select User Group, Maybe, But Fun 22 September, 2008 Okay, so there is very little in here that I would actually knit, but that's a matter of personal preference (I usually knit to keep myself warm in my meat-locker-temperature office), not because the book isn't any good. It's a hoot if you're into that kind of thing.
For those of you who were disgusted: What part of "naughty", and the pin-up girl cover art, is unclear to you?
"Tasteful" is largely a matter of, well, taste, but what you find in here is not intended to be your Sunday clothes! If you don't have a sense of humor or can't deal with off-color language, skip it and move on to something more traditional.

Finally A Book For Those Who Don't Wear Flannels & Sleep In Twin Beds! 19 June, 2008 Finally a book for those who don't wear flannels & sleep in twin beds! It's about time that crafting caught up with the rest of the world's lifestyle! The sexual revolution was 40 years ago (I know I was there). Most people have a playful, sensual sexuality & don't try to hide it anymore. So my friends and I have really appreciated these patterns. It's nice to add a sexy baby doll nightie, lace up bustier & bikini I hand made to my wardrobe. One night watching football TV my husband asked me what I was making. He did a double take & got a huge grin on his face when I told him tasseled pasties. I wouldn't say you'll get him away from watching the game but ...mine loved the half time show. It's not a "Hustler" magazine but it's nothing to hide from your Pastor either. In fact my Pastor's wife loves it.

Fun, Creative, Remarkably Practical! 10 August, 2008 I admit I bought this book as a novelty - I didn't really expect to do many of the patterns, but figured who doesn't need a blindfold? And I loved the style of the author's descriptions of her inspiration. Oh, and I was infatuated with the bikini.
Since then, I've since knit the bikini. The instructions were easy to follow. The result is great to wear - remarkably flattering and rugged. I wear the top kayaking all the time. It's comfy and avoids the annoying knot in one's back that's common with a lot of swimwear. And with a rugged sport, the top stays on well - very little risk of unintentional flashing!
The author does a great job of explaining what different parts of the pattern do, so if you want to, say, have a higher bottom on your knickers, the option is clearly explained. I've rarely seen this sort of instruction in patterns.
The patterns themselves are quite flattering, but not as immodest as one might expect. Ok, the pasties might be less modest than the sweater or the bikini.
So in summary, it's a surprisingly practical, funny, and occasionally impractical knitting book. For the one star reviewers who complain that the book is risque, I have to ask... You picked up a book called 'Naughty Needles' what were you expecting? Take the twist out of your knickers and put the book back on the shelf where someone who will appreciate it might find it.

A Must Have For Sexy Knits 23 December, 2008 I made many things out of this book. A friend of mine saw some of these things and said "I never knew knitting could be so kinktastic"
These are very sexy, non crafty looking items you would feel sexy wearing. I highly support this book as far as sexy knitting patterns. No others quite match up in my opinion. Must have , even for those thrifty knitters who would prefer to just find something close, but free on the net. BUY THIS BOOK. You won't be sorry.
