Perfect Beginner's Bible For Preschoolers And Beginning Readers 29 March, 2008 This collection of bible stories is a wonderful book for your preschool and beginning reader children. This book covers the story of creation, the crucifixtion and the resurrection. (Most children's bibles, in my memory, skip over the crucifixtion.) Original bible verses have been simplified so the earliest of readers can tackle the stories without difficulties. They're also easy to read aloud to your preschooler who hasn't mastered the ability to read. The pictures are colorful, and this is great introduction to the bible for children ages 3-7.

I'll Keep It Short But Unfortunately Not Sweet 26 July, 2007 My Sunday School students found the stories in this particular children's bible very boring and unappealing. I found the stories to be poorly edited, to the point that they made little sense.

A Young Child's Bible 31 December, 2007 I was looking for a Bible to share with my 5 1/2 year old granddaughter. She is learning to read, so I wanted a Bible that she could read with me. The Early Readers Bible is written for children that are just beginning to read. At the beginning of each book, there are a list of new words, that you can review with the new readers. The books are factual, but written in simple, easy to understand language. Both the old testament and the new testament are included. The main stories are told, in a simple, easy to follow way. The illustrations are colorful, enjoyable and bring the stories to life. I think this Bible will suit a child until the age of 10 or 11. It's the perfect Bible to read to younger children, to start new readers off in and it allows children, that can read, the opportunity to read and understand, their own Bible.

Has It All! 26 January, 2008 This Bible has it all. After the Bible story, there are 3-5 simple questions to ask your child. These help engage your child so you're not just reading to them. After the questions, there are some very simple activity suggestions to practice the Godly principles. This is so valuable because children need to see how the Bible applies to their lives. Most Bibles don't provide these wonderful tools.
