The Glory Of God 16 March, 2007 This is THE bible- he wanted everyone to be able to afford it. Don't read cheap, imitation "bibles"- the binding will rip and the pages will fall out. Contains both the Old and New Testament. Jews adhere to the Old Testament with baptized Christians leaning to the New Testament. Mormon is not a branch of any Christian church because they don't accept Jesus Christ as their savior and prophet. Many have fallen at the hands of Christ as the result of the gospel of Jesus Christ presented in here, this is THE...REAL...HOLY BIBLE...ACCEPT NO IMITATIONS!! I was baptized Pilgrim, but the other day sought out a local Baptist church and might become Baptist. There is NO SUCH THING AS CHRISTIANITY! There are TWO BRANCHES os Christianity accepted Jesus Christ as their prophet, Catholic and Protestant. I'm Protestant. But there's a catch- you can't MAKE them go to church! We get freedom of religion from Martin Luther, thus where the Lutherin denomination of Protestant comes from. If you are seriously interested in becoming a Christian I would recommend reading this Bible slowly and watch the movies Luther, The Passion of Christ and The Birth of a Nation. God bless. Might to the kingdom of God!

Great Bible 27 September, 2007 It's a great Bible considering its unbeatable price. The only disadvantage is quite small print.

Where Is The Original Kjv? 07 May, 2008 This edition of the KJV (ISBN 0-310-91514-7) is unique for
it is "paragraph-formatted", such that verses appear one
after the other, like as in a paragraph in a newspaper. I
find this makes the Bible (KJV) easier to read. For
example, 1 Timothy 2:13-15, is found in this edition,
written as follows:
For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not
deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the
transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in
childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and
holiness with sobriety.
In other KJV editions (which are not paragraph-formatted)
the preceding verses appear as follow:
For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was
in the transgression.
Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they
continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
"Paragraph-formatting" ought to be standard procedure in the Bible
Publishing industry. Why do you suppose it isn't? (If the "lunar
landing" was a hoax, do satellites exist? What came first, the
radio, television, or the internet?) Who desires TRUTH? Only True
Beleivers are able to say, "Jesus Christ is Lord". The letter 't'
in 'C-h-r-i-s-t' is not a "silent letter". Pronounciation matters.
They called his name Jesus. (JFK: His name was John; They called
his name Jack.) See, Luke 2:11; 1 Corinthians 12:1-3, KJV.
Also, why will "they" not publish and give away high-quality KJV
Bibles for free, and rely on donations to fund their operations?
Consider how much money "breast cancer research program" advocates
raise through sales taxes on grocery store items, and donations. And
if you want a Bible, why would you look at the price tag, first? Is
that how you shop at McDonald's? Do you say, "Just give me your
cheapest burger"? You should consider the item FIRST, before caring
(thinking) about price. (Desire good things. Desire TRUTH. The seed
is the Word of God. The Word of God is Truth. And it must be planted
in an honest and good heart.) Price is what you pay; value is what you
get.
