Product Description BIG BAD WOLF, now old and residing in the Villain Villa Senior Center, is invited to a tea by a children's librarian. His best friend, a toothsome crocodile, warns him that he will have to mind his manners. B. B. Wolf makes up a song: "Sip your tea and never slurp, say 'excuse me' if you burp. Smile and have a lot of fun, but don't go biting anyone." He remembers to say "please" and "thank you" and he gives a nervous Red Ridinghood, Three Little Pigs, and Gingerbread Boy his biggest smile ever, but when his stomach starts to gurgle, he gets a little mixed-up about what to do when you burp. This hilarious read-aloud story is a gentle reminder for children still learning their manners.

Its Never Too Late To Learn Good Manners... 03 October, 2007 The Big Bad Wolf ("B.B.", to his friends) is an old guy nowadays... His glory days chasing little kids through the forest and blowing down the little pigs' houses are long in the past and now he lives in a retirement home. The most huffing and puffing he does is when he walks outside to check the mailbox. One day, though, he gets an invitation in the mail, to a tea party at the local library, and B.B. gets quite anxious -- having been a such a meanie when he was young, he was never invited to parties before, and now he's worried that he won't know how to behave. A friend gives him a pep talk and loans him an etiquette book to study Armed with the information that you should say "excuse me" if you burp, and that you shouldn't eat the other guests, B.B. goes off to try and socialize. He does quite well, as it turns out, and the cheerful librarian invites him back sometime to tell *his* side of all those old fairy tales. It's a simple, charming story -- I'm not wild about J. Otto Siebold's chaotic artwork, but there are a lot of funny details to comment on, and my kid got a kick out of it as well. Plus, the action takes place in a library... what more could you want? Clever, Charming, Funny, Educational, And Amazingly Good! 15 July, 2008 The Villain Villa Senior Center is now the home of Big Bad Wolf. His friends call him B.B. Wolf. Well, Big Bad Wolf is invited to a special tea party by a librarian. Manners, above all, are required here! Will B.B. be able to survive this social encounter without making a fool of himself, or will he revert to being Big and Bad?
This is a GREAT read-out-loud book that children will want to read and hear over and over again. It's so cleverly written and illustrated that adults will love it as well.
What will happen when B.B. feels a burp coming on? You MUST buy this book for your children and find out. Oh, heck -- buy it for yourself, 'cause that's just how good it is!
Love it! So will you!!
