Comes From A Leading Child Psychiatrist 06 January, 2008 MAGICAL MOMENTS OF CHANGE: HOW PSYCHOTHERAPY TURNS KIDS AROUND comes from a leading child psychiatrist and one of the world's experts on childhood trauma. Here her story of how she dealt with a feral 'wild child' who had been hideously abused is juxtaposed with her insights on child psychiatry and how psychiatry can help troubled young people - even those extremely abused. Supplementing her experiences and analysis are interviews with over thirty of America's top child and adolescent psychiatrist who share their own key moments of dramatic breakthroughs with young patients, making for an excellent pick not just for college-level mental health holdings, but for public lending libraries.
