Disappointing 23 February, 2009 Nora's contribution to this anthology was the only good portion. I tried to read the one with the wizard and the mom and son who travel through time (and actually land in Eve's office! that was cool) but it was so out there I didn't bother.

Suite 606 Thread Unneccessary 05 April, 2009 I read all 4 stories as if there was no common thread. Each was "enchanting"- not exciting, just pleasant short reads. I felt that the tie in of "Suite 606" as well as bringing a character from a preceeding story was ridiculous. This came across as very contrived. Each story could stand on its' own. I loved the characters and wished the stories could be longer. I think this book is best enjoyed for it's "time travel" techniques.

Page Turner 22 April, 2009 I have just had time to catch up on my JD Robb reading and this was a good little story. I read it so fast, I am sure I will have to go back and read it again! It was so nice to check in on the In Death family and once again I was hooked. This is a must have for those JD Robb fans and there are many.

Very Disappointed 29 May, 2009 I bought this because of the J D Robb book, but even though it was a good story, it was disappointing in that it was so very short; about 75 pages? common, let's be realistic here. I knew it had to be short if it was part of what I call a "composit", but this was nothing. The other three? Pfft! I couldn't finish them. They really put me to sleep.
In this case, I knew that Ritual would be the equivalent of a short story, but in general, I really wish there were a way for us, the buyers to know ahead of time when an "In Death" book is a shortie or full length. Buying "blind" from Amazon makes it very difficult to know. There are many instances where two or three of her full length books are published in one volume, so that is not always a way to know with the new "in Death" stories.

3 Out Of 4 Are Good 14 May, 2009 This book is different takes in different times of Room 606. Four authors. The first three grab you and spin their tales well. The 4th on by McDomas is not that good. I am struggling to finish it. The plot is way out there, the story slow moving, and there is not building like the others of a crescendo as the story moves along. All in all the book is worth the money, but don't be surprised if the last story loses the fantasy of the book for you.
