Customer Reviews:

 • Most Thorough Of The A+ Prep Books
01 October, 2008

The questions in this book were a full notch or two above the real exam. I am 20+ years out of college, no pc tech experience and got 725/900. Practice test by rmroberts.com I thought was good; downloadeable off of google. I got 79 missed two easy questions and got 81 on real exam. Author said if you got above 70 you were ready. Cliff Notes is much more thorough, but is not overkill as explanations are there for every question.

 • Know Your A+ Stuff? Test Your Knowledge With This...
17 November, 2008

I didn't have access to a print version - I used Books247 online version to study for my A+ test. If you know your stuff from other references, this Cliffs book will get you polished before you sit for the test. Just follow the instructions, pick which A+ test you will take, and answer the questions. As a warning with most other A+ study books - KNOW YOUR STUFF FIRST!! Unless you're a "Pretender" (or a genius that can absorb information by only reading), get the recommended experience or instruction before taking the test. If you're using this only, its going to be a mighty expensive lesson to learn. Boost your confidence with this book AFTER you've learned the basics.

 • Cliffstestprep Comptia A+
04 November, 2008

I bought this book to help prepare me for the CompTIA 220-601 and 220-602 exams. The practice questions were helpful in preparing me for the 601 but as for the 602, the questions did not help at all. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this book. I also used Meyers AIO and the Sybex CompTIA A+ Complete Study Guide to prepare (both I would recommend). Anyway, I passed both exams on the first try. 220-601: 750 (minimum 675 to pass) 220-602: 770 (minimum 700 to pass)

 • Not The Best Exam Prep Book
16 August, 2008

This book really didn't help me at all, only made me question whether I was ready to take the exam. Some of the questions were not written well and others were way too difficult for the A+ exam. There are many other test question books out there that do the job much better than this one does unfortunately.

 • Why Make It Easy When You Can Make It Difficult.......
14 August, 2008

The questions in this book are much, much too difficult. They don't resemble the questions qua format or difficulty you get on the real exam. This book made me feel depressed and gave me the impression I had made the wrong study choice. I have quit using this book after the first practise exam. For a much better book take a look at ExamCram Practise Questions by Charles Brooks. The questions in this book resemble the questions on the real exam. The real exam is easy when you know your stuff. Recently I have passed both the 601 and 602 exams (IT technician) on the first atttempt.
