Striaght To The Point And Very True
17 December, 2009
I have been placed in a department where we are responsible for grants. Had I read this book prior to submitting the grant application we would got approved for $150,000.00 -I've only browsed through it and it is really, realy easy to understand, no jargon, big words, etc. And best of all, the book is straight to the point.
A someone who hates reading, I cannot stand it when a writer uses any useless adjectives and is just plain long dragging on with endless descriptions and such. This book tells you what you need to know and it moves right a long. Now, I have to finish reading it!

....for Dummines! Only Means A Thorough Presentation .
27 November, 2009
I have purchased and read several of these books for DUMMIES. And, in every case I have been rewarded by the thoroughness in which the subject was treated. To me, no one is a DUMMIE who admits that he doesn't KNOW IT ALL. These books present the total picture of a given subject in an uncluttered straight-forward fashion. This book meets that goal so I heartily RECOMMEND IT. Note: I have over 35 years of professional writing and strategic planning experience.

A Mistake
21 October, 2009
I can't review this book because the vendor sent "Fundraising" and not "Grant Writing." I decided, however, to keep the Fundraising book but I still would like to get a copy of Grant Writing but I'm afraid to try to order again and get the wrong thing. I hestitated to rate the item because it wasn't the item that was the problem!

The Best, Easiest Grant-wrting Book On The Market
14 December, 2009
I purchased this book to help my friend write a grant for her non-profit charity, and I have to say that it's the best book on grant-writing that I have found. It's easy to understand, consice, and the steps are very clear for what you have to do to "snag" a successful grant. I got a few other grant-writing books from the library, but this is the only one I actualy purchased to keep in my home library.
I think that this book is the best place to start for any non-profit that is looking to wite their own grant without the help of a professional grant-writer.
