Editorial Review / Publisher's Information:
Product Description In the small village of Hawkins Hollow, three best friends who share the same birthday sneak off into the woods for a sleepover the evening before turning 10. But a night of pre-pubescent celebration turns into a night of horror as their blood brother oath unleashes a three-hundred year curse. Twenty-one years later, Cal Hawkins and his friends have seen their town plagued by a week of unexplainable evil events two more times - every seven years. With the clock winding down on the third set of seven years, someone else has taken an interest in the town's folklore. Quinn is a well known scholar of local legends, and despite Cal's protests, insists on delving in the mystery. But when the first signs of evil appear months early, it's not only the town Cal tries to protect, but also his heart.

Love It!
04 September, 2009
I read the reviews before reading this book, and because of some reviews...my expectations were not very high...
Nora Roberts is hit or miss with me, no matter how little I can get into a book, I always read to chapter 3 or 4 at least, just to be sure.
With this book, the first chapter didn't have me completely sold, but by the next time I picked up the book, I didn't put it down.
This is one of the best Nora Roberts books for me. I haven't finished the rest of the series to confirm that it is, but I have high hopes.
I would absolutly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys paranormal novels.
Blood Brothers consumed me. It made me feel that I was in Hawkins Hollow.
Fantastic Read.

This is a great read: creative story line and intriguing characters. Will definitely purchase the rest of the trilogy.

Off To A Running Start But Can't Keep Up The Speed
12 January, 2010
I generally do not read Nora Roberts because I am not fond of romance for the sake of romance.I think that true fans of Nora Roberts want, like and expect lots of romance, but I do not. So when reading my review of this (and the other 2 that follow) keep in mind that romantic novels are not my preference.
I rented this as an audio book to to accompany me on a long drive. It did the trick especially as the first half or so of the book is very exciting. I kept thinking how much I was enjoying the book; the cute kid characters and the mystery set forth make for a good story. But as must happen, the cute kids grew up and the potential for romance was immediately set forth; I thought uh oh. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the story and was able to skip over the romance when I wanted to do so without missing out on the story itself. Not so with the next in the trilogy.

Picked A Great Read!
11 March, 2010
I picked up 2 of Nora's books, both audio, and didn't even realize they were 2 of a trilogy. I've already finished Blood Brothers and have started the 2nd book in the trilogy, The Hollow. I couldn't stop listening to Blood Brothers until I was finished with it and started the second one immediately. WOW - loved it.
My only disappointment was that when I got to The Hollow - I realized it was not being read by Phil Gigante. He read Blood Brothers and was fantastic. I wish he could have done this one too so it is a little harder to listen to someone else portray the characters once you've gotten used to the first person. I miss Phil's smooth voice and wonderful way with bringing the characters to life.
Still great books!!!
Love this trilogy.

Blood Brothers
29 August, 2009
I enjoyed this, the first book in this particular trilogy. I truly like Ms. Roberts trilogy sets as they encompass all the items I like to read - a little history, a fictional setting, a little romance, etc. I actually read the other two books in this set and all of them were engrossing.
