The dictionary proved to be a great gift to my grandchildren (range in ages 3-8)and afforded me a terrific opportunity to interact with them on magnificently illustrated subjects in a manner that fascinated them (and me.) In that respect, it is a great gift for children of all ages.

This visual dictionary has beautiful, crisp bright pictures, and the drawings are done with great detail. This is the perfect tool to help kids understand "visually" what theyre studying about in their books at school. It gives them a better grasp on what theyre studying when they cant go see an airplane or the inside of a train. Perfect!
