Product Description After their parents are lost in an accident, thirteen-year-old twins Grace and Marty are whisked away to live with their uncle Wolfe—an uncle that they didn’t even know they had! Intimidating Uncle Wolfe is an anthropologist who has dedicated his life to finding cryptids—mysterious creatures believed to be long extinct. Just as the twins and their uncle are getting to know one another, Wolfe finds out that his nemesis, Dr. Blakemoor, is headed to a Congolese jungle to poach a dinosaur and her clutch. Wolfe has to mobilize his team immediately if he wants to beat Blakemoor to the jungle. And his team does not include the twins. But Grace and Marty aren’t easily left behind. With breakneck daring, they literally drop into the Congo?falling from a helicopter. Through a series of perilous adventures, they eventually uncover longburied secrets about their identity and that of their uncle. Now, the twins must play a highstakes game, where the prize is a dinosaur egg, and the penalty, death.

Pretty Good 26 April, 2008 I really had never read any books like this until this one and it was pretty good. I wouldn't recommend it to everyone...only people into adventure and kinda sorta action and like not fantasy but like the whole cryptid idea. Anyway I read it because I'm interested in like Bigfoot and Yeti and love to read and a novel like this is hard to find and I enjoyed this book. The whole plot in my opinion is pretty creative on Roland's part but it was good!

Even The Parent Reading Aloud Won't Be Bored! 26 February, 2008 I love it when a book is as interesting for the parent as it is for the kids. My twin boys (9) adored this book. They want to see a movie version of it made. It would make for a very exiciting film. The book had us on the edge of our seats. One of the main characters is a girl, so it's a book that would appeal to girls as well.
