Surprised At The Size 16 April, 2002 When I received this truly pocket sized booklet I was surprised at the cost of such a small edition. In it's credit, it does contain alot of memory aids, flight calculation tables, checklists, pertinent FAA regs, abbreviations, weather minimums etc. for VFR and IFR pilots. I give credit to the author and publisher for compacting so much into a small space. Myself personnaly, would probably use it for quick reviews and memory aids while not in motion or as a general refresher out of the cockpit.

Not Too Useful 02 November, 2005 This book does have a lot of info for its size. In my opinion it just has your typical memory items that you should already know from your pilot training. Items such as alcohol consumption and required VFR equipment should not have to be looked up by a current pilot. Overall the book has a ton of info in it but not really anything you should need while flying and if you were studying at home there are much better books for studying.

Permanent Addition To My Flight Bag 07 April, 2007 Great quick little reference that can go where you go. True, most of the information should be well known to a current pilot. However, having aviation equations, often used acronyms, and some regs quick at hand is very useful. Great gift for a student pilot or professional. Buy the rules of thumb too.
