This was worth every penny ! I can't say that I have ever read a book like this before. I would honestly shake my head and think "This is SO TRUE !" after reading through every single chapter. It has caused me to think through ways that I have misunderstood God and think through the many ways that I have bought into the current culture's ideas of relationship. I think, unfortunately, that many of us have been "pressed into the world's mold" in our beliefs about God and the ways He has shown us love. We've been so conditioned by "The Favor Line", as Wayne Jacobsen puts it - that we expect that of God. This was an inspiring book, and I'm reading it again. I am buying several copies to share, just because I feel the message is vital. I would recommend it to everyone !! I just wish I had read it years ago !!

The book is wonderful! It gives those who have no relegious preference, strength in knowing what God's grace is intended to be. God has blessed all humanity with his love, through the authors eyes, we can grow in our understanding of him.

This book has been part of my understanding of God's love to a much fuller extent. If you have ever why wondered God loves you or why you get confused about God when you listen to some people explain how you must live in fear of God, read this book and see why fear is NOT what God wants. Friendship is.
Just like you always thought it should be, and probably what you believed before everyone started "teaching you".
