Product Description
Do you find yourself picking through circumstances like children plucking daisy petals attempting to figure out whether or not God loves you? If you find yourself least certain of his love in those critical moments when you most need to trust him, there is hope for you. Where? At the one event in human history that forever secured your place in the Father s hear--the cross where Jesus allowed sin and shame to be consumed in his own body so that you could freely embrace a relationship with his Father. There you will discover that what he always wanted was not the fearful subservience of slaves, but the loving affection of sons and daughters. If your spiritual life feels more like performance than freedom, like an empty ritual rather than a joyful journey, let Wayne help you discover a Father who loves you more than anyone on this planet ever has or ever will and how you can rest in the confidence of his affection for you through whatever circumstances you face.

 • A Life Changing Read.
28 June, 2009

This book is a hug from Heaven. Wayne Jacobsen offers a chapter-by-chapter reiteration and reassurance of one unalterable, inarguable fact: God loves you. That glorious truth is unconditional. No need to ever again play "He loves me ... He loves me not," based on life's circumstances and situations. Leave your daisies to grow naturally in your garden. Nothing you can do will make God love you less; nothing you do will make Him love more. He just loves you. You have been precious to Him since before the world was created. He loved you when Adam was still a lump of clay. He longed for your reciprocating affection eons prior to his first wail as an infant in Bethlehem. You were His favored child even as He carried His own cross up that hill to Calvary. He loves you. Just as He did with Adam and Eve, God longs to be your Friend. Your Father. He yearns for that close, personal, intimate relationship that comes only when true, untarnished love is freely given and received between two individuals. He won't demand it. He's chosen not to force it, because let's face it--true love doesn't happen via coercion. Such unnatural affection would be a weak and unsatisfactory facsimile, not good enough for the Creator of Heaven and Earth. In simple terms and straightforward fashion, the author paints an unforgettable portrait of a Father waiting with outstretched arms for His child...His cherished friend to accept his affection--and return it, so they two can enjoy the fullness of a loving relationship. Jacobsen builds his premise largely on that relationship: what it is, how to achieve it, what it means to each participant. Woven through the entire book is the one golden thread of simple truth: God. Loves. You. If you ever wondered about that; if you ever needed assurance that He knows you--who you are, why you are, and that you matter to Him; if you ever just wished you could feel His arms around you, read this book. Your hug is on the way.

Very thought provoking and right on the mark. I think we are all affected by the mistaken idea that we somehow have to earn God's love.

 • Excellent Book!

An excellent book! What impresses me about Wayne Jacobson is that like Russel Kelly, he walks the walk. They both give away the majority of their writing and audio for free relying on God to provide for them. I have read Wayne's books and went to a seminar he gave in our city. Wayne writes and talks of no obligation Christianity, but rather than give us an excuse to abandon discipleship, his excellent communication skills convey the incredible love of our heavenly Father, which in turn motivates us to serve others out of love rather than religious obligation. I highly recommend his book and visit his website [...]

 • Thank You, Lord!

What a great feeling while being led to understand more about God's immeasureable love and be freed from the guilt that Organized Religion uses so effectively to get us to carry out their self-serving programs. It is one book that I have no reservations about offering to anyone, with any background or prejudices.
