I Enjoy The Show And These Are Great Snippets Of It On Cd 07 December, 2001 I listen to the show when I can on NPR. This collection is just a small slice of some of the famous and infamous people she's interviewed. I am a fan of the movies and theatre as much as the next person. I just don't go out of my way to read about the stars in every magazine. If you are a "fanatic" and your life revolves one of these interview subjects, you may be disappointed. If you are the well-rounded average Joe or Jane, the quantity and quality of the interviews in this set is just right with the 17 people Terry Gross brings out to us. Most are interviews she did in 1999 and 2000 with the earliest being Clarence Williams III's in 1995 and if you remember the "Mod Squad" his interview is a good listen. I'd like to see a collection of interviews she's done with writers and authors next, it would be as cool as this group of artists.
