Don't be disappointed when finding just the diagnostic flowcharts! Personally I had expected some more information about failure analysis - good for beginners, no recommendation for advanced PC users!

This is a great book, that pretty much pays for itself.
Easy to understand diagrams, easy to troubleshoot computer problems with.
Of course it helps if you know what your doing. I'm an A+ computer technician, so I already knew
to go in and find these things, but the book is great because it kills your troubleshooting time in half.
The way it thinks is great, it's very straightforward so you can find it, fix it and move on with your life.
If your just starting out as a computer tech, get certified, then get this book. It's great!
A great book for anyone who dosen't want to take it to a tech right away.
I'd recommend this book and purchase it for family members.

This is probably the most valuable tool a PC Technician could have in his tool box. It's better at diagnostics and been more helpful than many of the bigger more expensive PC repair books I've gotten. My only regret is that I didn't buy this sooner. Also see the The Laptop Repair Workbook by the same author. It's well written and easy to follow. I highly recommend both.
