• Great Intro For A Note Reader To Learn Chords 24 March, 2008
I am a long time note reader but never really got the theory of chords and how to use them to embellish my hymn playing at church & home. This book helped me a great deal actually, even though its oriented toward introducing newbies to the piano. I have played the piano technically well for years, but i couldn't play anything but what was written on the page. Now i can do significantly more thanks to this book. I bought two copies for friends in simlar situations.

I was so disappointed when I received this book. You would be excused to think that you had received an English literature book rather than a piano lesson book. I must warn you that if you are thinking of a book that you can place on your piano as you try to figure out how to play the stuff in it then this is the wrong book. However if you are the type who play the piano with one hand while holding your music book in the other hand, then the book has some good stuff.
