I didn't want to wait for the large print, so I purchased this bible. It is not hard to see the verse with my 1.5 readers at all, but the comments are alittle challenging to see. Good quality book with helpful and in my opinion biblicle coments.

• If You Own Only One Study Bible Make It This One

The ESV Study Bible Even though study Bibles abound, this one is superior to any that I have used (and I have used quite a few). First the ESV is an excellent literal translation of the Scripture. Secondly the notes are quite extensive making it a wonderful resource for the Sunday School teacher, the Bible Study or small group leader. In many ways it is the single volume most students are going to need. The only fault that I will describe is it's size--it is rather bulky. It does have a very decidedly reform slant in regards to it's theology, but every study Bible is going to have it's own take on the text. It is full of excellent maps, illustrations, outlines, articles, etc. The notes and study material are written by a team of very reputable scholars. I had my doubts about investing in another study Bible but this one was well worth the price.
