Getting The Inside Scoop 21 September, 2008 Just got back from Old Quebec; we were so glad to have this guide! We could take tours at our own pace, and make discoveries as we went along. How charming to turn and see the cannonball at the base of the tree! We would have missed this if not for the step-by-step nature of this little guidebook that led us through the city and provided historical tidbits. Old Quebec is all about the back roads and the nooks and crannies. This book was the next best thing to having our own private tour guide, it really fleshed out our visit.

Its Exaclty What The Name Says, A Collection Of Walking Tours 29 August, 2008 This is not organized like your typical guide book. I was looking more for a typical guide book, but I will not knock a book for doing exactly what its title says. You will not find an overall map of Old Quebec. Not any sort of alphabetical list of restaurants or places to see. Actually very little coverage of restaurants. For this book to be of any use, you should pick one of their walking tours and follow it, using the book as your guide. The book provides interesting information about the stops along the tour.
