Very Useful Book
08 November, 2009
I've been looking for books on Western Feng Shui and found that this book, The Western Guide to Feng Shui, and a second by the same author, The Western Guide to Feng Shui Room by Room, to be enormously helpful. Both explain the Western approach to feng shui and give details that will help the reader understand and apply this feng shui approach to the home, office, surroundings, etc.
A word about this feng shui: it is NOT your grandmother's feng shui! If you're looking for the traditional schools of feng shui, you need to look elsewhere. But if you're looking for the approach that blends traditional and western ideas in an easy-to-read and understand way, both these books will help you.

I Really Like This Book
14 December, 2008
Eventhough this book is pretty easy to read, I'm still confused about the bagua configuration of my home. But other than that, I found this book informative and easy to understand (except the bagua, but I think that's me!). I recommend this to beginners.

My Favorite Feng Shui Book!
22 August, 2008
This has been my favorite Feng Shui book for years now. I had bought 2 copies for lending out and such. It really works! It's easy too. I even did these techniques to my office and ended up with record sales that year in that workplace (that was over 5 years ago and I have moved on since). When my life seems a bit out of whack, and I need to change the status quo, I jump right back in to this book and things always get better. Go for it!

Western Guide To Feng Shui
21 December, 2008
This is your book if you have a casual interest in bringing some Feng Shui priniciples into your life without going overboard. The included Bagua Map makes it easy to apply the principles in your home without going through a long learning process. I have found the principles to be startlingly useful, almost magical. If you've ever wondered about Feng Shui and feel like dabbling in it just a little...this is all you need.
