A Good Place To Start
18 November, 2009
I practice and teach qigong, and have read a dozen or so of the books recommended by my teachers, and I recommend "Wood Becomes Water" to my students as a first read on the subject of Traditional Chinese Medicine. TCM can quickly become complicated, but this book keeps things simple and clear and still gives a feel for the breadth and depth of the subject.

5 Elements Theory For Students And General Readers
27 November, 2009
This book is a fundamental resource for presenting students with a clear introduction to the 5 Elements approach to Oriental Medicine. With references to Feng Shui and Qi Gong, the student can gain further insight into how the 5 Element theory permeates the the Eastern approach to life. For the general reader it is easy to read, in some areas thought provoking, and can start you on a different road to life!

A Great Book To Have On Your Bookshelf!
28 December, 2009
This book was written wonderfully! Great for anybody wanting to learn more about Chinese Medicine, especially for beginners. The information is presented clearly and in an interesting manner. As a massage therapist I have gone back to this book to answer any curious questions I may have. Very good!
