Product Description Air travel may be crazy on the ground, but what's it like at 35,000 feet? How safe are you when you fly? Is airport security as good as they claim? How common is the Mile High Club? This revealing book answers these and many other questions that expose all the warts and blemishes of air travel.

A Fun-loving Air Travel Tell All 15 December, 2005 I have been a loyal reader of Steward's (Wysong) column on tripso, and picked up two of his books as presents, which I had to read first of course. I liked them so much, that I kept them and bought more for gifts. What sets his writing apart is his way of telling a story in a fun loving and humorous manner, all the while, not offending. I wish there were more flight attendants like this one, as I always seem to fly with the ones who seem angry at the world. I like his dry sense of humor and the ability to laugh at the frustrations involved with air travel. I recommend buying it before a flight and following along as your journey progresses.

Wonderful And Helpful 28 January, 2006 I rarely write these reviews but had to after reading it. This is a wonderful book, written with humor and style. It is a second edition as the author's first was published right before 9/11. So if it seems a lot like the first, read the foreward, it's supposed to. Out of all four of his books I liked The Plane Truth the best, and his latest one Flying High with A Frank Steward is now one of my travel essentials. Read it, you will not be sorry. I got mine used and then bought four more new for friends as gifts.

Too Much Like The First 16 January, 2007 His first book was much better. I think he ran out of good material to write about. Some stories were even repeated within the same book.

Air Travel Tales From The Flight Crew 17 July, 2007 Air Travel From The Flight Crew: The Plane Truth at 35,000 Feet is a mixed bag of humorous tales, travel tips, and the truth about what happens behind the scenes when we travel. The author has been a flight attendant for over 16 years and has definitely seen the best and worst of people and travel situations. He has travelled all over the world to many exotic locations, has had the chance to get to know lots of really nice people, and has played some interesting pranks on his fellow co-workers. He's also been vomited on, been the victim of food poison, and been endlessly hassled by angry passengers.
Air Travel From The Flight Crew: The Plane Truth at 35,000 Feet is a great mixture of the good, the bad, the shocking, and the helpful. There are so many stories in this book that I just had to share with my family and friends, mostly the funny and the nasty experiences. Nonetheless, somewhere in the process, I also learned a lot of great travel tips. If you learn nothing else from this book, I'll guarantee that you'll be significantly nicer to the flight crew on your next vacation.

Most Disappointing 09 January, 2006 I've never seen such a poorly edited book. Even the back cover contains rudimentary grammatical gaffes. It tries to be folksy and comes off as a tedious amateurish effort.
The substance, pointers about travel (for which I'd bought the book), could be easily condensed to five pages.
The 'humorous' anecdotes are rarely funny (though there are a couple of good laughs) and often seem unlikely to have happened in the first place.
It seems as though someone had a brilliant idea: Whilst trying to rough it through airline-imposed wage cuts, write a book on air travel. The beginnings are there. Mr Steward may very well have been the right person to write this book--if Impact Publications had chosen to give him the proper guidance and correct his mediocre grammar.
