The Bible had most of the qualities I was looking for:

Line by line
Quick gospel reference in the back
thicker paper
The only disappointment is it was too large. I was hoping for a slightly smaller, thinner Bible
and I was hoping for the leather to be a little softer. It was a gift for a young man beginning his ministry.

• Excellent Preaching Bible!

I was looking for an NASB Bible that had large enough print to read easily from the pulpit, yet had a verse-by-verse (as opposed to paragraph) layout. I also did not need a large amount of cross references or study notes. This Bible fit my needs perfectly! I agree with the other reviews that it is not really an "ultra-thin" Bible, but it is easily no more than 1/2 the thickness of most study Bibles. It is easy to carry, easy to read and has a durable cover, binding and pages. Each page is filled with verse-by-verse Bible text with very few extra notations to clutter the page. As a Pastor I use this Bible exclusively when I am preaching. I love it! This would also be a good Bible for someone to carry to church or Bible study who not interested in all of the "extras" of a study Bible. I would suggest the leather bound version for better durability. I highly recommend this Bible!

• Good Bible - Lousy Leather

Excellent bible and print.
Cons
The leather binding quality is highly questionable. The front cover, the leather is not even spread out evenly. I am surprised that the quality control even pass this item.
The only reason I am not currently returning the product is because it takes 1 month for it to be shipped to Asia and exchanging it would mean i have to wait another month.
I am very disappointed with the makers of this bible.

• The Authoritative Bible

Use the NASB95 for primary study and the NLT2 for general reading. Keep the NKJV Life Application bible by the side for reference together with the NLT Study bible.
You need nothing else but Greek and Hebrew to go further beyond the above. Don't waste time with NRSV, ESV, KJV, NIV and all the others.
This particular NASB bible is just simply excellent in its quality. The bonded leather is good enough.

The print is not very lage to be a "large print" volume. I bought it to give to a geriatric; yet the print is still not large enough for her to read without extra magnification.
