Need Updated Edition 13 October, 2008 This particualar edition is copyrighted 2001. There are strong travel advisories at this time for foreigners traveling to this area. Currently, there's (sometimes violent) politcal unrest in Nepal, as well as gas shortages affecting travel. Still, would like to know how these conditions affect the trekking industry and if people can still travel safely in this area.
