Editorial Review / Publisher's Information:

Product Description
This book shows why people fall in and out of love. The author, an astrologer and former police crime analyst, finds that the same hidden patterns associated with Venus occur continuously and consistently in the majority of relationships. A study of 1300 celebrity and historical relationships, backed up with details and charts, proves the point. When Stars Collide brings relationship and astrology into context and takes a giant leap forward towards not only understanding how to find out who you will attract, but also when you will attract them.

 • A Must Read For Those Interested In Relationship Astrology
10 January, 2008

This is a great book on relationship astrology. The results prove that there is a 99.7% chance Sun - Venus (Sun trine Venus; Sun conjunct Venus) aspects in relationships are not due to chance because they happen so often in relationships...per the author's research. I have a much greater understanding of how to predict the beginning and end of a relationship and whether it has long-term potential.

 • There Has To Be Something More Than This...
06 April, 2008

I tested the theories in this book against four relationships I have had. Two fit very well. Both were exact Sun trine Venus. One was a stretch, and I was a bit disappointed. We had Sun wide conjunction Venus, but being 3 degrees apart and not 2. We had helpful factors like multiple sextiles, including Venus Sextile Mars, but no trines. And yet, it was love at first sight on my ex-fiance's part. Oh well, may be the three degree wide conjunction still plays a role, who knows. I can just leave it at that. But for one - the most passionate relationship I had - just did not fit. We had natal Sun Square Venus, with no helpful trines. When we met, it was worse. With progression, Sun was again Square to Venus, and we even had Venus Square Mars! And yet, this triple square relationship was love at first sight. It was full of conflicts, but was passionate. I ultimately broke off the relationship saying "I love you but I have been chronically unhappy and I do not believe a healthy relationship should feel this way. I am crazy about you, but I feel like I am going crazy." (The book does note that Sylvia Plath and Ted Hughes had Sun square Venus, and Sylvia committed suicide). I wish the book explained a bit more why Sun Square Venus or Venus Square Mars could cause attraction. I felt like my questions were unanswered. Still, an interesting book worth reading.

 • Relationship Astrology
13 June, 2007

I enjoyed is book because for the first time, I understood how relationships had started and stopped based on the comparison of many famous people's progressed personal planets. The evidence was compelling and quite interesting!

 • This Is An Excellent Relationship Book.
18 September, 2006

I think that anyone who is serious about doing relationship astrology should own and have throughly examined this book. Paul Westran has a wonderful astrological education and his understanding is clearly demonstated in this book. He corrects exactly was is wrong with such astrological myths like Sun Sign compatiablity by providing a study backed by 1300 charts that does a lot of prove what is really attracting people to relationships with each other. Westran's testing method is simply and repeatable. Basically, he tests the reliablity of Venus aspects within a 2 degree orb of two people's natal and progressed planets to see if there is any correlation between those aspects and the start of a relationship. He more than proves that Venus aspects start the majority of people's romantic relationships.

 • Awesome Astrology Research For Major Love Events
21 April, 2007

This book is excellent! As a long time astrologer, I suggest that it belongs in your library. The research he has done on famous couples and their pairings and marriages is nothing short of phenomenal. I checked my own marriages with the Progressed Sun, Venus, Mars aspects according to his theory, and they fit to a T for when we married. I have another similar aspect coming this year with someone, so it should be interesting to see if it plays out similarly and to his theory. The book is a very enjoyable read as well with lots of additional good content of interest.
